Baby Growth Activity 7 -12 months
Babies are the God gift. One may get exhausted after them but then the fun in seeing their activities is just heart melting. My initial 6 months with the baby was an easy phase, babies are on bed sleeping or rolling as they don't move around.
12th month
7 month
During her 7th month, she was crawling fast, sitting, standing with support and even try to raise her feet to grab any object kept on table/sofa.
She still loves tags and goes for it to play and till now all the tags have gone in her mouth.
When I clapped, she observed then after 2-3 days, she started clapping and her face was wondering with happiness and seemed like an achievement.
She observes everything very carefully and tries to imitate within 3-4 days or sometimes on the spot.
Then once she saw my hubby making sound of car motor by mouth, then she started making motor sound that too with her lips vibrating 🤣
During her 7th month, she was crawling fast, sitting, standing with support and even try to raise her feet to grab any object kept on table/sofa.

When I clapped, she observed then after 2-3 days, she started clapping and her face was wondering with happiness and seemed like an achievement.
She observes everything very carefully and tries to imitate within 3-4 days or sometimes on the spot.
Then once she saw my hubby making sound of car motor by mouth, then she started making motor sound that too with her lips vibrating 🤣
In terms of height she meets the parameters, milestones she's reaching beforehand though her weight has been towards lower side.
From this phase it really became difficult for me to do any work, as wherever I will be, baby will come near my feet and hold it tight and crib for me to pick or play with her.
8 month
8 month
Till now she was not able to look for hidden objects, though now she tries to look for it.
She talks and responds by baba, pa, bapa, abu...
She plays with her own hands, does various things, smiles and becomes happy on her own.
Now she has started recognizing objects and how to use it, like we gave her a box to play as drum, then she puts her pacifier on her own in her mouth.
Many a times I see her playing with her pillow and bolsters.
She started holding her bottle of milk on her own till it finishes. Though this moment was just for a month.
By end of 8th month she gets up from sleep in morning and seeing us sleeping, could play around on bed or sometimes come near our arm or tummy and keep her lil head on it and take a nap again. Sometimes she sleeps with her bump up.
On listening to her kinda music, she starts bending her knee (like happy and dancing).
9 month
Babies really grow fast and do so many things.
She bends her legs to dance on any music.
She understood neck movement and started playing with neck, like if we do left right or up down, she also moves her neck accordingly. It's so much fun to watch them. Babies totally loves pikaboo.
She takes 2naps in a day for around 1-2hrs.
As covid-19 locked down was going on, she hardly got to meet anyone since 3 months. Though when she met 2 of my friends, intially she just noticed for long, and slowly slowly started moving towards them and kind of smile and went to play with them.
She now understands scolding, as once we did, for holding a stuff and was about to take in her mouth.. she left that behind and moved forward towards us with a crying face.

By now started transferring food stuffs from one hand to another.
10th month
My hubby one day showed her how to get down from bed and come up on sofa and since then she tries to come up but yes with support or holding anything tight.
In later half, now every day tries to stand without support. Infact one afternoon she stood without support and took a step, that was such a beautiful moment.
She already knew clapping, now she learnt waving hands and smiling at 'bye', she moves her palm and fingers while singing 'twinkle twinkle rhyme'.
She bends her upper body and head left and right to see us or on listening to songs.
Giving is the best thing and here I have made her learn to give if anyone asks for what's in her hands.
I started giving infront of her food and she picks on her own and eats, though loves eating dry items, anything mashy becomes a mess. It's really a challenge to make them eat and a big task as parents to make babies eat on their own.
She started holding the things kept on tables or higher racks and just pulls towards herself and throws it down.
We got her hairs shaved (mundan) at Batu caves on 1st July. We loved our baby for being so quiet and supportive during this moment, as she's active at home and doesn't sit at one place.
In the last week before competing 10th month, she was able to stand without support for few seconds and took 2-3 steps.
11th month
One very interesting thing I find was my lo bent down in search position and tried to take out her toy that went inside the rack. She was lying then bending and trying hard to take out the toy. Sometimes she stands on her own and can stand for a minute. Even takes 6-8 steps independently.
She sings 'mmmm' when listens to songs, dances by folding knee and sliding left right. As understands, so can 'give' on asking anything, understands when we say 'pick' or 'take'.

Claps, does 'Jai jai' by folding palms, tries chutki, waves hand and speaks 'ba ba bye' saying bye.
Also understands 'Stand' and 'Come' when said so. Sometimes she repeats few words like said 'apple', 'balle balle', 'rabit.
Now, able to walk short distance independently.
She eats chapati, mango, oranges, grapes, basically anything chopped into small pieces.
Her First two lower middle tiny tooth appeared.
12th month
Wow, so many new new things babies do. She now walks full fledged. And walk up and down the stairs holding our hands. Even she tries to run(walk fast or takes big steps) to catch us.
She has started understanding many things like not to go out in the balcony or in the washroom or 'wait' and 'sit down'. After seeing us writing, She too tries to scribble with the sketch pen or pen whatever she holds.
Now her new interest is opening and closing the cap of the bottle or box. She loves children's and people, follow what other kids do, like playing kitchen set, running or playing.
So far, 4 teeths are out, It's different for different babies, few get 6-8 teeth wherein for few no or only 2 teeth are out.
As per the normal baby growth, babies should double by 6 months and triple by 1 year, so she's on track. My lo is triple her birth weight at her first birthday. And height wise she meets the parameter and have pre reached the milestones.
