Baby food 1-12 months

I was so excited to introduce food to my little one. Almost a week before she turned 6 months, we did annaprasan(celebration of introducing food/puree) for my little one. That was with kheer(sweet), as it is considered as a good start. And actually it was. Intially when we started at 6 month I followed the 5 day rule ( introduced new food for 5 days and wait) then later on, from 7th month did it 3 days. So, I will be mentioning in order what all we introduced: 6th month Dal - Intially for 5 days just gave moong daal pani, then started with properly cooked mushy moong dal around 2tsp. Rice - Cook 1tbsp rice with half cup water in pressure cooker and give 4 whistles as intially to start with it should be cooked in a mushy way. Khicdi - Take equal quantity of rice and daal, wash it properly and pressure cook it with water and pinch of turmeric . Cereal mix - Rice dal. Wash 1cup rice and 1cup moong dal seperately. Foods linked to better Brain power

As per many a research, infact the one done by Harvard shows that certain food increases the brain health and memory. Few of these are mentioned below: 1. Green Leafy vegetables Green veggies like Spinach, Kale, Collard, Broccoli are rich in brain health nutrients like folate, lutein, Vitamin K and beta carotene. 2. Berries The natural plant pigment Flavonoids find in berries contributes largely towards the healthy body. Try to have various kinds of berries like Strawberry, Raspberries, Cranberry, Mulberry, Black and blueberries. 3. Walnuts Nuts are excellent sources of Protein and healthy fats and Walnut are among the superior one for excellent brain booster. 4. Tea/ Coffee As per the research and test, people consuming caffeine scored better in mental function. 5. Fatty Fish Seafood is usually great source of Omega-3 fatty acid and have many other useful nutrients. Have fishes like Tuna and Salmon to boost up the brain power.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy It starts with the small two lines when you see on the pregnancy strip, and hereafter all the emotions ooze out - excited,  worry, mix emotion of happiness/ smile and tears. We hugged each other, smiled and eyes red wit mix feeling of anxiousness, fear, happiness, surprise, suspense. Is it, seriously, happened so soon. That was with us. It was a Sunday morning just before the New year eve, 2019, so we stayed back home, as most of the clinics and hospitals are closed and we didn't feel the need to go in emergency.  When you know with your home test, it's positive, go see the doctors as soon as possible. The next day on Monday I again checked after breakfast on watson strips, it came fadely red in test line. Pregnancy Diet

During pregnancy, for a healthy baby and mom, Diet plays a major role besides exercise and fitness. It's really good to be aware of what you are eating, how and how much. Here are few tips for a healthy pregnancy. Food Steaming is the best method of cooking. Boiling is good if consuming the water as well in which cooking. Do not overcook vegetables, keep them crunchy. Avoid storing cooked food for more than 24hrs/ a day. It is best to use stainless steel utensils for cooking. If not possible then better transfer your food as soon as its cooked into stainless steel/ glass container. Iron - Pudina/ Dhaniya chutney 2tspn/day. Pregnancy Hospital Bag

Preparation for the D-Day Pregnancy is one of the beautiful and special phase in life. No doubt, for each girl the pregnancy experience is different, for some it will be like a cake walk on the other hand for few others it may be like a nightmare. Before the D- day of delivery means as per your estimated due date make sure to keep your hospital bag and stuffs for immediate use ready.
