TRAVELSM - Visit Bali - Natural beauty

3day Itinerary for Bali trip in Indonesia

Bali is a beautiful natural beauty and we fully cherished our Bali trip. We did the Bali vacation for our 1st wedding anniversary. A month before, we booked the tickets for 2pax in Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bali and stayed there for full 3 day and 4 night. For many countries, like India and Malaysia, it's free Visa entry, it's just that when you get down at Bali airport, during Immigration, a stamp will be stamped on your passport.
Beforehand visiting Bali, I got a contact number of a tour driver (named Komang) from a friend, so we mailed him our details of all the tourist places and date of travel, prior to our visit, he sent us the full Itinerary via mail accordingly. We booked our hotel in the Kuta area, as it's a happening location in Bali. So, on arrival in Bali at night, he received us and dropped to hotel and from next day we covered all the places with him in his SUV car.
Below is the full plan for our 3 days trip in Bali, which covers almost all the main must see places :-
Day 1
> We had our breakfast in the Hotel, by the time the driver already arrived and then we Started at 9.30 am. Firstly we went to take a local sim card in case we have to call the driver and for contacting others.
> Barong and Kris dance was planned but we avoided that and directly went to Krishna center for shopping, believe me they had so many stuffs and that too was dart cheap, we got a painting, few junk jewelleries, hand bags and handmade soaps and natural oils.
> Ubud art village - We couldn't stop our self from shopping here, mainly wooden handicrafts. Must say, it's a heaven for people who love the house décor. Take out almost half of your day, if you wanna explore whole of Ubud market, as there are many shops spread across by the side of main road.
> Kintamamani Mount Batur Volcano - The volcanic smoke still keeps coming out of this active volcano. You can also go nearby and go for a trek on this volcanic mountain). We couldn't go for trek due to my ankle injury. We viewed from a sight seeing location that was 10mins drive from Ubud.
> Besakih temple - One needs to walk up the steep stairs. Heard it's beautiful. We couldn't go up, as our driver said due to my ankle injury it will be difficult to climb up.
> Tegalalang rice terraces field - Spread out rice field, wherein you can walk in between and relax somewhere nearby having a view of it. Here, we had our lunch @Rice Terrace Café. They had a very beautiful traditional set up to enjoy your meal in between the nature. We just loved there open restaurant set up.
> Tirta empul holy spring temple - It's a big old temple wherein people take bath in its holy water and then come out and pray. By the time we reached, it was late evening, and the musical sound of the shrine big bell was so soothing and conventional.
> Ubud palace and market (Famous for handmade souvenir, Sari Dewi Silver and many beautiful handicrafts, clothing) I just loved it, Bali is a heaven for bargain priced shopping.
> Finally had our dinner and returned to the hotel.
Day 2

> Start at 3 am from hotel
> Morning time to see dolphins at Lovina beach was in our plan, but we skipped this.
> Pura ulun Danu Beratan (mesmerizing view). It is a must visit when you are in Bali. Need to purchase ticket for entry.
> Tanah Lot Temple - steep cut rocks on hill top with 2 temples -one surrounded by water around and other on the rock top. The compound is developed with shops, parks and most of the time, traditional musical instruments being played by experts.
> Legian beach – As connected to Kuta so good for Surfing.
> Seminyak beach - The stretch of Kuta, Legian and seminyak is famous for shopping and relaxing.
> Kuta beach – It’s famous for Night life, Surfing and of course shopping, you get so many varieties of cloths, junk jewelleries, show piece, key chains, magnets and many more stuffs.
Day 3

> Start at 9 am
> Watersports at Tanjung Benoa -you can do various water activities here like we did parasailing, besides you have Jet ski, water ski, banana boat, fly fish, rolling donut and many more.
> Nusa dua beach (calm, blue water and well maintained beach) Around Nusa Dua is properly planned complex and very neat and clean, giving it a classic look.
> Coffee farm - Go in the evening, sit nearby the forest area in any of the coffee farms and watch the beautiful sunset while sipping varieties of tea and coffee.
> Uluwatu temple and Kecak fire dance (traditional balinese dance at one side of the uluwatu premises) The place was fully crowded, we were lucky to get the ticket and the place, will suggest try to sit in the front down side to have a clear view and pictures of the dance.
> Jimbaran beach dinner (famous for seafood by the side of the beach). In the night, the beach side restaurants, take out there seating arrangements and decorate the space beautifully. Must visit for the sea food lovers.
> Enjoy the night life, and take a chill pill. 😊
Am sure, this will be really helpful for people visiting Bali, as already few people were benefited and explored Bali very comfortably as per our itinerary. Ideally at least 5 days is required in Bali to have a relaxed time and chill nearby the beaches, get pampered with Spa and massages and properly enjoy the beauty of nature.
Also, will suggest do hire a scooty / bike if you like driving, and to have a feel of the city. Install Google map or Waze app in your mobile and take a City guide booklet and Explore Bali fully on your own. Enjoy your Trip to Bali. :)
